PineCrest Activities
PineCrest believes an active lifestyle is the key to a happy, healthy retirement. That is why PineCrest has numerous activities directors on staff to keep people engaged, entertained and on the move! Take a look at the "week at a glance" activities calendar below for a sampling of what PineCrest has to offer. All of the directors strive to provide opportunities for a wide range of spiritual, cultural, educational and physical pursuits based on the residents' interests and ability.

Those in residential living and patio homes have a wide array of offerings both on and off campus. A residents' committee meets monthly for an "ideas exchange" that results in the next month’s calendar and in planning future events and trips.
Activities can be daily, weekly, monthly or seasonally. Frequent day trips provide residents a variety of opportunities to discover the hidden treasures of East Texas and Western Louisiana. Longer trips promote camaraderie, friendships and adventure. PineCrest staff members always accompany overnight trips.

This is just a sampling of what residents who need help with their activities of daily living can participate in. At any time you might see residents enjoying music, sipping a slushie or creating a craft. Our activities directors share the goal of keeping PineCrest residents involved and active. This is another reason why life at PineCrest is always interesting and rewarding.
